Example
Cadillac
The Cadillac name goes back to the 1920's. With an 8-cylinder engine, the car was considered very powerful in its early years. It stuck with simple names like Special until the Fleetwood was introduced in 1946. Automatic transmissions were introduced for Cadillacs before Word War II. During 1942-1945, production of the car was stopped because of wartime production needs for military vehicles.
