Tower Tip: No Electricity Manual Transmission Release Procedure: Always secure vehicle against movement using wheel chocks before using a manual release procedure. Using the conventional key located within the body of the key remote, unlock the compartment located above the driver’s left foot pad. This panel will drop down. Inside you will find a nylon lanyard attached to a release leaver. Pull the lanyard/leaver down to place the transmission into neutral. Push the leaver back into place (up) to return the transmission to Park. No Electricty Manual Emergency Brake Release Procedure: Locate the emergency brake release tool (T shape) inside the tool compartment. Remove the cargo area floor/trim. Screws must be removed using the brake release tool’s handle as a screwdriver. Locate the manual brake release point on the left inside of the cargo compartment just inboard of the left rear wheel location. Insert the tool into the port and forcefully pull up until you hear the brakes disengage. Always secure vehicle against movement using wheel chocks before and after using the manual release procedure. Refer to the owner’s manual for instructions for restoring normal brake functions.
"Eye Bolt Attachment Notice": The manufacturer specifies use of an auxiliary attachment point for vehicle loading. Check owners manual for location & specifications.
