Tower Tip: Battery & spare tire are located under the trunk floor and must be accessed through the trunk. In the event that a dead battery does not allow the electric trunk release to operate You can access the trunk area by using a remote release located behind the driver’s seat near the rear door jam. There is a manual trunk lock hidden behind a trim plug that can be activated using the ignition key.
