HYBRID SYSTEM: This vehicle uses a high voltage battery to assist the engine during acceleration and braking operations. The high voltage battery is located in the trunk. Orange loomed wiring carers energy between the battery and the high voltage components under the hood and in the transmission. Avoid contact with these orange wire looms. A crash involving airbag deployment disables the high voltage system in this vehicle. Disconnect the 12 volt battery to ensure all circuits controlling the high voltage system are disabled. When transporting, ensure ignition is shut off and keys are removed from vehicle.
